The ultimate source of energy in this solar system is the Sun

Through the Sun, Photosynthesis is possible

Through Photosynthesis, life on Earth is possible

Glucose is the fuel for all living and once living things on Earth

If we reduce Carbon Dioxide then we will reduce the amount of Photosynthesis that takes place on Earth, thus reducing the available fuel for all living things

When we displace ecosystems, we lower the Biodiversity of all life on Earth, thus making ecosystems and the whole Energy Pyramid less sustainable 

Every new neighborhood, parking lot, road, etc... comes at a cost to all living things
